DOWN TEMPO
Whilst always rooted in Hip Hop and Psychedelic Dub, Tim’s original down tempo/chill music has developed and evolved continually since his debut live performance at Rainbow Serpent Festival in 2010. Elements of Trip Hop, Glitch and Trap and Bass music are woven into cinematic landscapes through extensive use of field recordings, vinyl sampling and world music instrumentation.
Think... ‘Space cowboys in a Spaghetti western, on their way home from a Hawaiian wedding, stop of for some Punjabi party time, cause a ruckus romancing Rajasthani princesses, traverse the Sahara and end up at the base of the pyramids in an African drumming circle with Marley’s Rastafarian preacher fresh from a New Orleans Voodoo Chant Down’.
